During her time at this hospital, she was responsible for both individual and group therapy using a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy model. Erica was also involved in developing programs and supervising Clinical Psychology Trainees and Registrars. Erica has continued to supervise Registrars until 2015.

Erica holds a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology. She has been supervising the Post Natal Depression Program at Midland Women’s Health Care Place for over ten years and has a special interest in using psychological approaches to facilitate and maintain weight loss.

Together with her colleague Leanne Young, they run therapy groups from The Richardson Street Centre. Some of the current groups being offered are for those experiencing difficulty managing their weight and for those who benefit from a regular walking group. More details on these groups can be found at turningpointtherapy.com.au.

Erica is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society, the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Psychologists, and the Institute of Clinical Psychologists.
